A year of dreams and perseverance

In the warm glow of an Amsterdam summer evening, as the sun slowly set on the horizon, we came up with an idea that would form the basis of a year full of passion, perseverance and creativity. It was on this magical evening that we, Joyce and Valerie, planted the seed for our own dog accessories brand. A project that would eventually take up every spare minute of our lives for a year.

Inspired by the beauty of the sunset and our shared love for animals, we decided to make our own mark in the world of dog accessories. We saw opportunities for renewal there and with a collective determination to create something unique and stylish, we embarked on a journey that would strengthen our deep friendship and connect our individual skills.

Valerie, with a background in PR and communications, and Joyce, with her expertise in creating and producing creative content, made an unbeatable team. We started by outlining our vision, creating a clear picture of our brand and how it should meet the needs of dog owners looking for something special.

An important value that we established from the start was the use of animal-friendly materials. With a critical eye, we searched for the perfect materials that ensure that our products are not only hip and trendy, but also comfortable for the dogs to wear.

The path to success, of course, was not a straight line. We researched countless suppliers, worked with limited financial resources and made every decision with care. We turned our piggy banks upside down, every euro was an investment in our dream. Together we laughed and dreamed away at the thought of the future. Discussions were inevitable, but it was precisely this diversity of perspectives that brought our final product closer and closer to us. In the midst of this healthy exchange of ideas, we saw the bigger picture more clearly: we wanted to not only make dog accessories, but also put smiles on the faces of every dog ​​owner.

The highlight came with the arrival of our first samples. The first results of our hard work and our idea that finally became tangible. With renewed energy, we devoted ourselves to perfecting our products and shaping our self-built webshop. We spent evenings and weekends setting this up.

The year peaked on May 7, a day filled with excitement and anticipation as our first photo shoot was there. A fine example of planning and production by Joyce. The challenge: 4 collars in 4 colors and 3 sizes, 2 leashes in 4 colors, 9 dog models, 2 female models, 30 items of clothing, 8 crew members and 1 location. O ur collective vision came to life that day. The mood board came to life with this photo shoot and we are proud of the result.

Now, on August 12th, we're about to finally introduce Wiggle to everyone. We would like to express our gratitude to the suppliers, models including all involved dog owners, friends, family, every 20 euros we turned over 100 times - everyone who contributed to make Wiggle a reality. And as we turn the next page of our journey, we're ready to make the world a better place.
